Serdang, 12 March 2025 – A writing refinement workshop for the manuscript entitled “Helang Samudera: Perisai Maritim Negara” had been held from 10 to 12 March 2025 at the Meeting Room of UPM Press Centre (PPUPM). The workshop involved discussion among the publication committee members in PPUPM and Lieutenant Ahmad Aizat Mohd. Zamri, a representative from the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).

The main purpose of the workshop is to refine and polish the contents of the book “Helang Samudera: Perisai Maritim Negara” which is planned to be published soon. This book represents the overall functions of MMEA as the country’s maritime shield. This book is also focussing on the obstacles and hurdles faced by MMEA in managing maritime enforcement tasks, carrying out coastal and air surveillance of Malaysian waters, and performing maritime search and rescue besides its success in ensuring the safety and security of Malaysian waters.
