SERDANG, 3 March 2026 – The University Putra Malaysia Publishing Centre (PUPM) and Social Science Press (M) Sdn Bhd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in research, publishing, and knowledge development. The session was attended by PUPM Director, Prof. Ir Ts Dr. Mohamed Thariq Hameed Sultan, Dr. Puvaneswaran Kunasekaran, Deputy Director of Strategic Affairs and Journal & Book Management at PUPM, as well as the Vice President of Social Science Press (M) Sdn Bhd, Dato' Prof. Dr. Halim Hamat and Dr. Yao Hai Tao, Senior Consultant of Social Science Press (M) Sdn Bhd.

The collaboration aims to produce high-quality publications and to organise workshops and training programmes that involve students and lecturers in research projects. Both parties hope that this initiative will have a positive impact on society and strengthen knowledge at the international level.
