KUALA LUMPUR –UPM Press launched Bingkisan Puteri Tiga Negeri: Sebuah Antologi Cerpen in conjunction with the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) on 6th April 2019. This book was written by authors from three different countries, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam. The writer from Malaysia was Prof. Madya Dr. Kamariah Kamarudin from the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, Ibu Abidah El Khalieqy (Indonesia) and Puan Norsiah Abd Gapar (Brunei Darussalam).
The book was launched by the Dean of Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, Prof. Dr. Abdul Mua’ti @ Zamri Ahmad at Reruai MAPIM, Tun Razak 3 Hall, Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) around 2.00pm. The event was followed by excerpt reading from the book Ummi, Tunggu Saya di Christchurch! by Dr. Fazilah Husin, a lecturer from Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication. A book talk session was held later participated by Dr. Tengku Intan Marlina Tengku Mohd Ali from the Academy of Malay Studies (APM), University of Malaya. Special purchase discounts were also offered. Also present at this event was Malaysia’s National Laureate Datuk Dr. Zurinah Hassan.
