After a series of success organising the Thesis to Book Transformation Workshops by the Editorial and Production Section, UPM Press Centre (PPUPM) in 2022 and 2023, a brand new series for the year 2024 had started which was held on 27 – 28 February 2024 (Tuesday – Wednesday) from 9 am – 5 pm. This first workshop was being held at the Meeting Room, School of Business and Economics, UPM.

Seventeen lecturers from the School of Business and Economics (SPE) attended this workshop. The opening speech was given by Associate Professor Dr. Bany Ariffin Amin Noordin, the Dean of SPE. The speakers and facilitators for this workshop were from the section itself after being fully trained for a few years. The purpose of this workshop is to guide and assist lecturers to transform their thesis to academic books.

The workshop had attracted quite a crowd and responded positively by the participants. Congratulations to the staff of the Editorial and Production Section in conducting this successful workshop. Congratulations to the participants too for being highly committed all throughout the 2-day workshop.
