Serdang March 12 - UPM Press annual strategic planning workshop was held at UPM's Uniputra Golf Club. The two-day workshop aimed to provide and strengthen the participants with team spirit, integrity and vision to strive for excellence.

The workshop began with a welcoming address and introduction by the Director of UPM Press, Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohamed Thariq bin Haji Hameed Sultan. One of the objectives of the workshop was to keep employees motivated with new ideas and to become dedicated employees especially in publishing work.

Participants were divided into groups to discuss strategic plans and annual target work plans for UPM Press. Each group was assigned a group discussion based on the assigned task. Then each representative of the group made a presentation and concluded the discussion.

Among the expected outcomes of the workshop was to enable more competitive participants to work together, improve the quality of UPM Press products and further enhance UPM's reputation.
