UPM Press Participated in Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM ) Press for the first time had participated in the Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF). The 22th book fair from 25 – 30 August 2015 held at the China International Exhibition Center in Shunyi is the largest in China involving participation from local publishers and also publishers throughout the world. UPM Press was the only representative of Malaysian university publishers. Institute of Language and Literature (DBP) and three other private publishers under Pavilion Malaysia and hosted by Kota Buku Corporation also joined the book fair. UPM Press was represented by Mrs Kamariah Mohd Saidin, Head of UPM Press and Mr Mohd Rusdy Hasan, Head of Sales and Marketing Section. Booth by UPM received a high number of visitors especially from various international publishers who are interested of purchasing publication rights of to be published materials. In addition, representatives from UPM and DBP had the opportunity to pay a courtesy visit to the Malaysian Embassy in China, China Radio International and Beijing Foreign Student University.
