Welcome to the fourth Special Issue of the Pertanika Journal of Science and Technology (PJST). PJST is an open-access journal for studies in Science and Technology published by Universiti Putra Malaysia Press (UPM Press). The guest editors are Prof. Dr Zaiton Samdin, Dr Ruzana Sanusi and Dr Norfaryanti Kamaruddin. The theme is “Forest to Shelves: Roles in Climate Change and Community Entrepreneurship”. This Special Issue, “Forest Industry Related Environmental Issues, Possibilities, and Challenges,” delves into a wide range of topics that illuminate the challenges and opportunities for advancing sustainable practices. It deepens the understanding of how the forest industry can contribute positively to environmental management, benefiting our ecosystems and the communities that rely on them. All the papers published in this edition underwent Pertanika’s stringent peer-review process involving a minimum of two reviewers comprising internal and external referees.
