Welcome to the second Special Issue of the Journal of Science and Technology (PJST). PJST is an open-access journal for Science and Technology studies published by Universiti Putra Malaysia Publishers (UPM Press). The guest editor is Dr. Mastura Mohammad Taha from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). This special issue explores the potential of bio-composite materials by examining the effectiveness of integrating ecological systems, economic considerations, and social factors to achieve sustainable design and manufacturing processes. This special issue also includes recent advancements in manufacturing processes and technology. All the papers published in this edition underwent Pertanika’s stringent peer-review process involving at least two internal and external reviewers.
