Welcome to the Special Issue for the Pertanika Journal of Science and Technology (PJST). PJST is an open-access journal for studies in Science and Technology published by Universiti Putra Malaysia Press. The guest editor is Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Sapuan Salit from the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia. In this special issue, experts from different international and national institutions have published nine research and review papers on natural fibre composites. The theme is “Towards Successful Implementation of Circular Economy.” The authors of these articles come from different countries, namely India, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia, Maldives, Nigeria and Thailand. All the papers published in this edition underwent Pertanika’s stringent peer-review process involving a minimum of two reviewers comprising internal as well as external referees.
