31 August 2022 – The Yayasan Pembangunan Buku Negara (YPBN) together with Universiti Putra Malaysia and Prime Minister’s Office had organised the Persidangan Buku Antarabangsa 2022, Ekspo Buku Malaysia, Anugerah Buku Negara, and Forum Kelab Penulis on 22 - 25 August 2022 (Monday - Thursday) from 10.00 am – 6.00 pm being held at the Main Hall, Pusat Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Universiti Putra Malaysia.

The Vice Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia, YH. Dato’ Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan Sulaiman, presented the opening speech on the first day of the programme. The programme was officially launched by the Vice Secretary of Higher Education, YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Hj. Megat Sany Megat Ahmad Supian.

The programme successfully pulled a crowd of 300 participants from the book and creative works industry including Indonesia.
