Serdang, 1 August – During the 2023 UPM Staff Sports Competition (SUSTAF), three (3) UPM Press Centre staff, i.e. Muhammad Firdaus Md. Jufry, Muhammad Shafique Ardi Abdul Rahman and Fatimah Abdul Samad had participated in the Chess Team Event representing Gabungan 5 (G5). The G5 contingent consists of combination of the UPM Press Centre with eighteen other departments.

This event had been conducted on 22 July 2023 started from 9 am until 5 pm at the UPM OSH Hall. Eight contingents had participated and G5 managed to be at the fifth place.
