Serdang, 11th March 2025 – Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) UPM Press Centre (PPUPM) has laucnhed a series of Publication Roadshow programmes that will be conducted at various faculties and institutes of UPM from February to April 2025.

The main objectives of this roadshow are to outline the academic book publication process at PPUPM, detail the publication procedures for Pertanika journals and proceedings, provide guidelines for manuscript preparation, and review the publication of books derived from theses. The program also includes Q&A sessions focused on publishing, giving lecturers and researchers the opportunity to engage with experts and enhance their understanding of how to publish their academic works.

As of 11th March 2025, the Publication Roadshow has already been conducted at the Faculty of Education, the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2), the Institute of Biosciences, and the Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Sciences.

PPUPM is hopeful that this initiative will greatly benefit UPM’s academic staff by strengthening their knowledge of academic publishing processes. Furthermore, the programme aims to serve as a valuable platform for lecturers and researchers to gather firsthand information from the University Publication Centre on the publication process.
