Serdang, 8 October 2025 – A discussion took place between the Office of the Vice-

Chancellor, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and UPM Press to discuss the upcoming

signature publication that will highlight the university’s image and achievements. The

meeting focused on the conceptual direction, design, and narrative development to ensure

that the publication reflects UPM’s intellectual values and its identity as a world-class

research university. Representing the Office of the Vice-Chancellor were Ms. Noorizai

Mohamad Noor, Ms. Norzaina Darus, and Mr. Raja Muhammad Muzamir Raja Mahadi, while

UPM Press Centre was represented by Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohamed Thariq Hameed Sultan,

Mr. Muhammad Arif Sambudin, and Ms. Dianna Watty Ibrahim. Held in a cordial and

enthusiastic atmosphere, the discussion reflected a shared commitment to producing a

prestigious publication that not only documents the university’s achievements but also

embodies the spirit and identity of its community.
