Kuala Lumpur, 15 MAY 2025 – A discussion on a book publication entitled “Federal Ceremonial and Protocol” has been held at 10 am in Istana Negara Kuala Lumpur. The session was conducted to coordinate the contents and approach on the book publication which will act as an official reference about the country’s Royal customs, ceremonial, and protocol.

The discussion was attended by the Director of UPM Press Centre, Professor Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohamed Thariq bin Haji Hameed Sultan, a representative from the National Book Development Foundation, Dr. Roslan Basaruddin, and representatives from the Istana Negara, i.e., Datuk Azuan Effendy bin Zairakithnaini (Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela), Muhammad Izzul Faiz bin Japri (Pegawai Istiadat), and Mohd. Husni bin Yusop (Media Spokesperson).

This publication is planned to be a high quality official reference to protect and elevate the Royal’s ceremonial systems and protocol as one of Malaysia’s national heritage.
