SERDANG, 16 June 2026 – The Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Press Centre held an official photo session for the publication project of the PDRM UN Peacekeeping Mission book at 9.30 a.m.

The session involved officers of the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) who had previously participated in United Nations (UN) peacekeeping missions, together with staff from the UPM Press Centre who were directly involved in the publication of the book.

The programme was organised to capture official photographs to be included in the acknowledgements section of the book, as a token of appreciation to all parties involved in the success of the publication project. The photo session was also attended by the book authors, Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohamed Thariq Hameed Sultan, ACP Ts. Dr. Sivabalan Suppiah, and SUPT Dr. Norashikin Ahmad.

The event was further graced by the presence of key industry figures and strategic partners. Among the distinguished guests who attended in support was the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Book Development Foundation, YBhg. Tan Sri Prof. Datuk Wira Dr. Abdul Latiff Abu Bakar.

This publication is expected to serve as an important documentation that records the contributions, roles, and sacrifices of national security forces in maintaining global peacekeeping efforts. The close collaboration between RMP and the UPM Press Centre also reflects a continuous commitment to honouring the history of the nation’s uniformed services through high-quality scholarly publications.
