Serdang, 20 May 2025 – UPM Press Centre, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), had  undergone the 1^st Stage of self-evaluation on Amalan Persekitaran Berkualiti Ekosistem Kondusif Sektor Awam (EKSA) or the Conducive Public Sector Ecosystem reviewed by two appointed panels. The appointed panels were Mr. Nazaruddin Ramli from the Deputy Vice Chancellor’s Office (Student Affairs and Alumni) and Ms. Maznur Nazila Moin from the Centre for Management Waqf, Zakat, and Infaq (WAZAN).

The self-evaluation session started with a welcoming speech from Mrs. Norshahilda Md. Shahril, the Chairman for the EKSA Executive Committee, followed by a short briefing by Mr. Encik Md. Fairus Ahmad at 9.30 am. The audit session began from 10.00 am until 1.00 pm, involving all the office spaces at UPM Press Centre – General Office, UPM Press Centre Book Shop, and Journal Office located at PUTRA^® Science Park.

The audit findings and marks were presented right after the audit, followed by a closing ceremony, gift presentation, and photograph session with the Director of UPM Press Centre, Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohamed Thariq Haji Hameed Sultan, panels, and staff.

Congratulations to UPM Press Centre for obtaining an excellent high score of 95.5% during this evaluation session.

It is hoped that the practices and cultures of EKSA in UPM Press Centre will continue to grow and flourish for more years to come.
