UPM Publisher Objectives

The publication of books, journals and other scientific manuscripts in both Malay and English are produced by academics and employees for the purpose of expanding the current body of knowledge, disseminating knowledge and information for the benefit of all mankind, promoting UPM, and supporting its vision and mission.

Quality Objectives 

The publication period of the original work does not exceed 9 MONTHS per title. The University Putra Malaysia staff carry out the responsibility of achieving the predefined quality objectives, and ensuring that those objectives are reviewed from time to time to ensure they are in line with UPM's vision, mission and goals. 

This active role is played by the UPM Publisher, which is a department that is also responsible for documenting and disseminating the knowledge generated by the University. What is remarkable is that the books published by UPM Publishers are not only used by UPM students themselves, but also by other public and private HEIs.

Students can benefit from the publications produced by visiting the UPM Publisher. A wide selection of titles and publications covering many topics can be purchased at affordable prices. Books published as important reference texts for several courses offered at UPM, and general references to specific disciplines, are also available.
